Merilampi represents Kesko Group in a transaction where K-Auto acquires the business operations of Autotalo Lohja Oy, a Volkswagen, Seat and Cupra dealer operating in Lohja and Tammisaari.

Established in 2011, Autotalo Lohja Oy recorded net sales of €43.3 million in 2023 and the transferring business employs approximately 54 people. The Lohja dealership comprises Volkswagen, Seat and Cupra sales, used car sales, and maintenance and body repair operations for Volkswagen, Seat, Cupra and Audi. The Tammisaari location offers Volkswagen sales and used car sales, and maintenance for Volkswagen, Seat, Cupra and Skoda.

The completion of the acquisition is subject to the approval of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. The deal is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024 at the latest.
