We represented the shareholders of Finncont Group Oy in the sale of Finncont’s majority shareholding to Sponsor Capital. The aim of the transaction is to support Finncont’s future growth both in its current markets as well as internationally.

Finncont Group is a Finnish circular economy company established in 1974. Finncont manufactures smart waste and environmental management solutions for industry, property companies, municipalities and agriculture. The group’s revenue is approximately 33 million euros, and it operates globally with approximately 160 employees in Lahti and Virrat, Finland and Gothenburg, Sweden.

The transaction is subject to approval of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
