Merilampi represented Nordea Life Assurance Finland Ltd in its acquisition of limited liability housing company Asunto Oy Helsingin Vanhalinna from LocalTapiola General Mutual Insurance Company and LocalTapiola Mutual Life Insurance Company. The property is located at the crossroads of Ring Road I and Eastern Highway in the address Vanhanlinnantie 3, next to Finland’s biggest shopping centre Itis.
The property was built by SRV in 2011–2012, and it has lettable area of approximately 21,000 sqm. The property consists of over 300 rental apartments and business premises.
The transaction is one of the largest residential single asset transactions ever in Finland.
