The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) has unconditionally approved the acquisition of Pohjola Hospital by Pihlajalinna. Merilampi represented Pihlajalinna.

In the acquisition, the entire stock of shares of Pohjola Hospital will be transferred to Pihlajalinna. The net debt-free cash price of the transaction has already been announced at EUR 31.8 million. With the acquisition, Pihlajalinna's service network will expand significantly not only to the capital region but also to other growth centers.

Pihlajalinna is under Finnish ownership, and it has almost 6 000 professionals providing services in over 140 locations across Finland. It has customers include private individuals, companies and public sector entities, municipalities, and hospital districts.
